back from a successful herculaneum tour

just got back from a great tour out east with herculaneum. It was definitely our best tour so far with great crowds everywhere and a lot of fun. We shared the stage with a great bunch of musicians, from Tomas Fujiwara's trio, Brian Chase, the Four Bags, Father Figures, Buffalo Stance and many many more. A highlight was the band being pictured in the new york times! check out the review as well as a few more below. We are contemplating a live recording release this summer with another round of shows. stay tuned!

great review of "here come the wild waves"

foxy digitalis has posted a cool review of magical beautiful's "here come the wild waves."

here's a short excerpt:

"The group represents the talents behind some of Chicago’s most surreal, imaginative, and experimental projects outside of the fuzzy mainline of the psychedelic/acid punk underground.  Here Come the Wild Waves is the result of four years in the studio, and the stamp of painstaking care is evident from the artwork through to the sounds jumping off the wax."
